PADDLE SWITCH

Electroswitch Electronic Products, an ISO 9001 registered company,
recently built a new test laboratory for comprehensive performance
testing, safety verification, catalog verification, and life-cycle
analysis for its line of rotary and miniature switches such as the
pushbutton, rocker and the paddle switch. Electroswitch acquired the
miniature-switch product line from Eaton Corp. in Dec.
1999. The new expansion, adds approximately 3,000 sq ft to the
company's existing test facility

Electro Switch Corp. has purchased the Miniature Switch product line
from the Commercial Controls Division of Eaton including the miniature
pushbutton switch, miniature rocker and paddle switch lines, and
miniature toggle switches. The products were previously manufactured in
Eaton's Arab, AL, and Selma, NC, plants.

  • Life Under Load — 60,000 make-and-break cycles — resistive

  • load only.

  • Initial Contact Resistance — 10 milliohms maximum 3 VDC, 100

  • ma for both silver and gold plated contacts.

  • Insulation Resistance — 1,000 megohms, min.

  • Dielectric Strength — 1,000 volts rms at sea level.

  • Operating Temperature — -30 degrees C to 85 degrees C.

  • Base & Bushing — Thermoplastic high temperature

  • (UL 94V-O).

  • Rocker/ paddle switch — Molded nylon.

  • Mounting Bracket — Molded nylon.
